Statement

The camera is an elegant time machine. It can freeze an instant or capture the flow of time. The advent of the millennium offers us a special vantage point to reflect on time itself. As a photographic artist my main focus is on the slow, relentless, and barely seen passage of time. I have been directing most of my energy towards work on a Iong-term black and white project, an attempt to make visible the flow of time. My goal as an artist is to free the psyche and re-invent the dream. I want my photographs to inspire and communicate a fresh sense of wonder.
